Wig 101
HD Lace vs Transparent Lace
Both disappear. One is delicate, one is durable. Here's how to choose without the marketing noise.

The short version
HD (high-definition) lace is thinner and disappears on more skin tones, especially in close photos. Transparent lace is slightly thicker, more durable, and easier for a beginner to handle. Both can look undetectable when matched to your skin.
Choose HD if
You'll be photographed up close, you have a deep or very fair skin tone where standard lace shows, and you're willing to handle the piece gently. HD is fragile — it tears and bruises if you tug.
Choose transparent if
This is your everyday piece, you're new to wigs, or you'd rather have something that survives a year of washing and re-wearing. Transparent lace, matched to your tone, is invisible enough for almost all real-life distances.
