Wig 101
How to Measure Your Head for a Wig
Three measurements decide whether your cap sits flat or lifts at the back. Here's how to take them.

Circumference
Wrap a soft tape around your hairline — front hairline center, over the ear, around the nape, over the other ear, back to start. Most adults land 21.5–22.5 inches (Standard). Under 21.5 is Petite; over 22.5 is Large.
Ear to ear
From one ear, over the crown, to the other. This tells you whether the cap will sit flat across the top or perch. A gap here means the cap slides forward all day.
Front to nape
Straight back from your front hairline to the nape of your neck. Too short and the cap lifts at the back; too long and it bunches at the crown. Between sizes or an unusual hairline? That's what a Custom Fit Consultation is for.
