How to Store a Wig
A good piece lasts years if you store it right. Three rules, no special gear.

Store it on a stand, not flat
Laying a wig flat crushes the cap and warps the lace. A canvas or styrofoam head (or even a clean, inverted bowl) holds the cap shape and lets the fiber fall naturally.
Keep it out of sun and dust
Direct light fades the color — especially on lighter shades. A satin-lined box or a silk bag keeps dust off the lace and the fiber from drying out.
Detangle before you store, not after
Never put away a tangled piece — the knots set over time and become permanent. A quick bottom-to-top brush before it goes on the stand saves you a fight later.
