Wig 101
Wig Density, Explained
Density is how much hair is on the cap. Higher isn't better — it's just different. Here's the map.

Natural (130–150%)
Moves like real hair, parts cleanly, comfortable for all-day wear. The safest choice for beginners and for anyone who wants the piece to read as their own hair in real life.
Full (150–180%)
More body, more styling options, still believable in person. A good middle ground if your natural hair was always on the thicker side.
Glam (180%+)
Volume for days — photographs beautifully, reads 'done.' Loud in real life and heavier to wear. Best for events, content, or people who want the piece to be a statement, not a secret.
Why beginners shouldn't max it out
A high-density piece is harder to blend, hotter to wear, and more obviously a wig to the trained eye. Start Natural; you can always go fuller on the next piece. (See also our Density Guide.)
